Senior Support Worker
Helping domestic violence perpetrators to stop. Supporting male victims of domestic violence to be safe.
Respect is looking for an experienced and confident worker to lead our national domestic violence helplines – Respect Phoneline, for perpetrators of domestic violence and Men’s Advice Line, for male victims of domestic violence.
The Senior Support Worker will support the overall operation of the Helplines including line managing the Helplines Advisors, being the Safeguarding Lead, managing complaints and personally staffing the Respect Phoneline and the Men’s Advice Line via phone, email and webchat.
Hours: 35 hours per week. Fixed-term contract through to 31 March 2019 ((to be extended when further funding is confirmed)
Salary: £33,564 (point 34 on Respect’s scale, related to the NJC scale) including inner London weighting ; plus 6% pension contribution.
Location: London-based (opportunity to occasionally work from home after successful completion of probationary period).
