We are recruiting: Director of the Change that Lasts Perpetrator Response

Project Background

Women’s Aid (England) and Welsh Women’s Aid developed the Change that Lasts model that supports professionals to provide a strength based, trauma informed response to women and children who have experienced domestic violence and abuse. The approach builds the skills of communities to encourage survivors’ help seeking and challenge the conditions that enable domestic violence to begin in the first place.

Respect is working in partnership with Women’s Aid to expand the Change that Lasts approach in England, developing a parallel strand of work addressing perpetrators of domestic abuse.  The aim is to intervene with perpetrators as early as possible, enabling behaviour change and increasing accountability with the safety and wellbeing of survivors and children the key priority.

This project is funded by the Police Transformation Fund and will work in Lincolnshire and Sussex to pilot the Change that Lasts Perpetrator Response.
